Description
Fifteen hundred VA across four sockets, sized for a desktop and a monitor or a small rack rather than a single device. Line-interactive, which means it regulates voltage continuously instead of sitting idle until the mains fails.
That regulation is the part that earns its keep on a weak supply. It accepts anything from 140 to 300 volts and holds the output near 230, keeping equipment out of the brownouts that wear power supplies down over months. When the mains does drop, the changeover takes four to eight milliseconds.
Two sealed 12-volt cells inside, back to full in six to eight hours, and it will cold-start on battery alone when there is no mains to begin with. Under 45 decibels at a metre.
