JBL GO 5 Portable Bluetooth Speaker

Palm-sized and genuinely rugged: IP68 means it survives being dropped in a pool, not just rained on, and JBL rates the shell for drops as well. It is the speaker for a beach bag, a shower shelf or a bike basket, where a more expensive one would be a worry.

Eight hours of playtime, or ten with Playtime Boost, and an edge light that glows along the rim while it plays. Auracast pairs it with other recent JBL speakers into one system rather than a stereo pair, so two of them cover a garden. Settings live in the JBL Portable app.
