Description
Two halves of one job: a tone generator you clip to the cable at one end, and a probe you sweep along a bundle at the other until it squeals over the right one. That is how a single line gets found in a wall, a trunk or a patch panel nobody labelled.
The transmitter doubles as a cable tester, with eight indicator lamps that show pin order and continuity, so a run can be proved as well as located. Everything ships in a belt pouch: both units, RJ45 and RJ11 adapters, an alligator-clip lead and an earphone for tracing quietly.
