Soft orange silicone instead of PVC, which is a real difference in the hand rather than a marketing one: it does not stiffen in the cold, it does not take a permanent kink where it leaves the charger, and it lies flat on a desk instead of trying to coil back into its packaging shape.

Six amps is generous for a USB-A cable, so it will not be the bottleneck on a fast charger with any phone plugged into it. The connectors are heavy knurled zinc alloy moulded into the jacket in one piece — no crimped joint at the neck, which is where cheap cables die first.
