Sony CFI-ZDD1 Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive for PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro

The part that turns a digital PS5 into a disc one. It bolts to the side of a PS5 Slim Digital Edition or a PS5 Pro — both ship without a drive — and from then on the console plays disc games, 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray films and ordinary Blu-rays and DVDs.

Worth knowing before you buy: the drive has to be paired to the console over the internet the first time it is fitted, so the PS5 needs to be online for the setup. After that it behaves exactly as a built-in drive would, and it opens up the second-hand disc market that a digital console locks you out of.
