Description
Three hundred hours on a charge at half volume — the figure this headset was built around. In practice that is weeks of evenings between trips to the cable, where most wireless sets want charging every second or third day.
The dual chamber drivers carry over from the wired Alpha, splitting the lows away from the mids and highs so each can be tuned on its own terms. DTS Headphone:X handles positioning. Range runs to about twenty metres on 2.4 GHz through the USB receiver.
The frame is aluminium with memory foam pads, and the noise-cancelling boom detaches when it is not wanted. A full charge takes around four and a half hours.
