HyperX Cloud III Wired Gaming Headset

The 53 mm drivers are angled toward the ear rather than firing straight at it, which is the whole argument for the Cloud III: positional audio arrives where the game meant it to. Memory foam and leatherette on an aluminium frame handle the part that decides if it is still on your head four hours later.

One headset covers the whole desk. A 3.5 mm plug goes into a DualSense, an Xbox pad, a Switch or a phone; USB-C or USB-A goes into the PC, where the in-line controls sit on the cable. The 10 mm noise-cancelling microphone detaches completely when nobody needs to hear you. Six months of warranty.
