Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade - Nintendo Switch 2

The first part of Square Enix’s retelling of Final Fantasy VII, given over entirely to the city of Midgar. Cloud Strife, a mercenary and former SOLDIER, signs on with Barret, Tifa and the eco-terrorists of AVALANCHE against the Shinra Electric Power Company, and crosses paths with Aerith in the slums beneath the plate.

Combat runs in real time: attacks fill the ATB gauge, which you spend on spells, items and abilities while the action slows to a tactical pause. Intergrade adds EPISODE INTERmission, a side story starring the Wutai ninja Yuffie Kisaragi that runs parallel to Cloud’s. Optional Streamlined Progression settings can take the difficulty out of fights for players who are here for the story.

Worth knowing before you buy: this is a Game-Key Card. The card in the box holds no game data, only a licence key, so the full game downloads over the internet and needs free space on the console — Square Enix lists 90 to 95 GB.
