Description
Two products in one frame: a stand that lifts a laptop to one of five heights, and a metal-mesh cooling pad with a single large fan under it. The height is the half people underrate — raising the screen to eye level is what stops the neck ache, and the cooling is what stops the machine throttling once it is up there.
One 14 cm fan rather than four small ones, which is why it is quiet: 15 dBA at its lowest and 700 to 1400 RPM on a speed dial with its own on/off switch. It fits anything from a 9-inch netbook to a 17-inch laptop, adds four USB ports back to the machine, and weighs a kilo.
