This is the wired set built for sponsored players, and the Special Edition keeps the hardware intact: hybrid mesh PRO-G 50 mm drivers, an aluminium fork and a steel headband under memory foam.
What separates it is the microphone chain. Blue VO!CE runs the detachable condenser boom through broadcast filters — noise reduction, de-esser, compressor, limiter — configured in G HUB and then stored on the headset, so the processing travels to any machine you plug into. The bundled USB sound card adds DTS Headphone:X 2.0 for positional audio.
Two metres of cable with volume and mute inline, and a Y splitter for machines that keep microphone and headphone on separate ports. Three hundred and twenty grams without the cable.
