Pokémon Scarlet - Nintendo Switch

The first fully open-world Pokémon game. The Paldea region has no set route: from the academy at its centre you choose which Gyms to take on, which Titan Pokémon to hunt and which gang of rebel students to break up, in whatever order you like — three stories that meet at the end.

Scarlet is the version with Koraidon, the legendary Pokémon that becomes your ride, across land at first, then water and up cliffs as the story goes on. The Terastal phenomenon gives any Pokémon a crystal form and a new type mid-battle, which changes what a team can do.

Up to four players can explore Paldea together online, and trading and battles work with Pokémon Violet.
