Sonic Forces - Nintendo Switch

Doctor Eggman has finally won. With a new enforcer called Infinite and the power of the Phantom Ruby, he has taken over most of the world and captured Sonic, and Knuckles leads what is left of the resistance in the fight back.

It runs on three styles of stage. Modern Sonic plays in 3D with the boost and homing attacks; Classic Sonic takes the 2D side-scrolling stages with the spin dash and drop dash; and the third hero is one you create yourself — an Avatar built from seven animal types, carrying a grappling hook and a Wispon such as a flamethrower, a whip or a hammer. Tag-team stages put the Avatar and Modern Sonic on the course together.

A single-player adventure from Sonic Team.
