Description
Sonic Team’s kart racer is built around Travel Rings. After the first lap the race leader picks one of two rings, and the whole field drops into one of 15 CrossWorlds for lap two before returning to the home track for the last. Cars turn into boats and planes at set points in a race, collecting rings raises top speed, and each Grand Prix sets a rival on your tail.
There are 24 tracks, 45 vehicles and 70 gadgets to mix and match, with up to four players on one screen, eight across linked consoles and twelve online.
The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition puts the Switch game and its Switch 2 upgrade on one game card: up to 1440p on a TV and 1080p handheld, at 60 frames per second for one or two players. This box also carries the bonus Werehog Pack: the Werehog as a playable racer, his Beast Spike machine and a Werehog decal.
