Description
The slimmer PlayStation 5, in the Digital Edition: there is no disc drive, and games come from the PlayStation Store. If a disc collection turns up later, Sony’s add-on drive attaches to it and makes it a disc console.
Inside, an eight-core AMD Zen 2 processor, RDNA 2 graphics with hardware ray tracing and 16 GB of GDDR6. The custom NVMe SSD loads games in seconds, and an M.2 slot takes a second drive when it fills up. Picture runs to 4K at up to 120 Hz with HDR, Tempest 3D AudioTech places sound around you on any headphones, and the DualSense controller adds haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
In the box: the console, a DualSense controller, HDMI, power and USB cables, and two horizontal feet. The vertical stand is sold separately.
